Job Description
Duties Lead a team of Customer Services Officers in the screening and pre-approval, processing of the bancassurance applications and / or General Insurance from the bank's front line relationship managers in retail banking, private banking, commercial and corporate banking etc Liaise closely with Sales staff in branches, private banking, commercial and corporate banking to support their business initiatives Ensure information and application documents submitted by the front line staff are in order Maintain good record keeping of each application, licensing requirement of the sales staff is proper, the information on each application is in compliance of the bancassurance partner's requirement Update progress on pending case report and review list, medical examination follow up, missing information follow up etc Responsible for reviewing material and documents to ensure the compliance of respective regulatory requirements and guidelines Implement any changes in compliance/business guidelines in accordance to Compliance department's instruction and regulator's guidelines Oversee insurance end-to-end sales process, ensure it is complied with bank standards, insurance underwriter's requirement Plan and supervise the daily work schedule for the team to ensure adherence to productivity objectives and quality mentrics To supervise and assess staff's performance to ensure high standard of service delivery and conduct individual coaching to staff To update work instructions and training manuals to ensure compliance to regulations, legal and corporate audit requirements are met and improve service consistency Work closely with the Insurance principals in bancassurance, general insurance and monitor the submission of the cases, policy issuance, client liaison, and solve the problems with the front lines sales
Job Requirment
Requirement Bachelor degree holder with relevant insurance qualification Over 15 years in the insurance operation gained in life insurance or bancassurance business, with 5 years of supervisory experience Good knowledge in the bancassurance processing, with general insurance experience preferred Good management skill, problem solver, good communication skill with all parties Familiar with applicable laws, compliance regulations, rules and codes of conduct Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin is desirable
