Job Description
Job Descriptions - To assist the Head of Risk Management to ensure asset quality through the management of credit early warning and the Bank's credit portfolio. - Ensure that the Division is in compliance with applicable regulatory and supervisory requirements as well as various internal risk management policies and guidelines. - Assist in leading the establishment, implementation, review and improvement of the risk governance/ management framework for the Bank. - Assist in overseeing the overall credit risk management of the Bank, covering corporate and commercial banking customers, and institutional counterparties. - Assist in leading the formulation of the Bank’s Risk Appetite Statement - Direct the formulation of credit risk management strategies and policies. - Ensure an appropriate level of impairment provision in accordance with the accounting standard and the asset quality - Oversee the development of risk assessment tools, methodologies, processes and procedures as appropriate to the different business lines/ product units. - Supervise subordinates and provide them with appropriate coaching/ guidance to ensure the Division’s deliverables are in compliance with legal and regulatory and ethical standards, of the required quality, and in adherence to the Bank’s corporate values, risk management policies and service standards. - Be responsible for the planning and execution of projects as assigned by Senior Management from time to time to facilitate the development of the bank while balancing risk considerations.
Job Requirment
Requirement - Degree holder in Economic, Finance, Risk or related discipline. - 15 years of banking experience with at least 10 years in the credit and risk discipline, experience in managing subordinates is preferred - Frontline experience is much preferred - In-depth knowledge of risk management, operational control, and related regulations/ supervisory guidelines - Strong credit, analytical, communication and negotiation skills - Strategic minded with good business acumen - Pragmatic with strong motivation for results - Strong leadership and people management
